Research About Giraffes

How can I participate in a shared research about giraffes?

Version Audio en EspaƱol

We have been learning about animals and recently went to Zoo Atlanta.  Our class is conducting a shared research on giraffes.  This means we need everyone’s help to learn more about giraffes.  The students shared questions they have about giraffes and now we need to find the answers.  Below is a list of what we wonder about giraffes.

  • How big is a baby giraffe?
  • How do giraffes carry their baby?
  • How do giraffes reproduce?
  • How do they drink?
  • How tall is a giraffe?
  • How do giraffes sleep?
  • Do giraffes know how to run?
  • How do giraffes take a bath?

We need your help!  Choose a question to research with your child.  Then, write your answer and post it to our classroom blog by clicking on the word comments at the end of this post.  Also, tell us where you found the answer.  We will look at the blog together in class to share what everyone is learning.
Please type the student's first name only with the answer so we know who is participating.

Thanks for your help!
